Down by the River: 'Beautiful Wanderer' Live Video

My good friends Dave and Cass recently invited me to share a couple of days of their family vacation in Maine.  I gladly took them up on their generous offer, and joined them on Chanterelle Island.  It's just off the coast of the town of South Bristol, in the middle of the Damariscotta River, as it begins to enter the Atlantic Ocean.  On my second day there, I woke up to the most beautiful, perfect summer morning by the water I could ever imagine, and no one seemed to be rustling yet but me.  So I grabbed my black Ovation Audience acoustic guitar, went down to the water, and played for the sky, the birds, the river, and you - thanks to my trusty iPhone4 camera. Share |
